More Than Housing — A Path Forward.
Von Anthony House was established to address a critical gap in Austin's social services landscape — the need for structured, supportive transitional housing that bridges the gap between crisis and long-term stability.
We serve homeless veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country, individuals on the edge of homelessness who need a hand up, and those in recovery who have taken the courageous step of getting sober and need a safe environment to continue that journey.
Our approach is holistic — we don't just provide a bed. We provide community, accountability, and access to the services needed to rebuild a sustainable life.
To provide safe, structured transitional housing and comprehensive supportive services that empower homeless veterans, at-risk individuals, and those in recovery to achieve lasting stability and independence.
We envision a community where every man experiencing homelessness—especially those who have served our country—has access to safe housing, meaningful support, and a clear path to lasting stability, independence, and purpose.
We believe stable housing is the first step toward recovery and long-term success.
Every individual is treated with dignity, regardless of their past or current circumstances.
We promote healing and personal growth by encouraging recovery, wellness, and healthy choices.
We balance clear expectations with supportive guidance to help residents succeed.
Our work is focused on helping residents transition to permanent housing, employment, and self-sufficiency.
We honor those who served by prioritizing veterans and connecting them to the resources they've earned.
We partner with local organizations and systems to deliver coordinated, effective care.
We are committed to tracking outcomes and continuously improving our program based on results.
Whether you need housing or want to support our work, we'd love to connect.
